As seen from the X-Ray, unlike most of us, this 11 year-old girl's heart is located somewhere near the abdominal area - she has 2/3 of her heart in the abdominal cavity, and 1/3 of it is between the chest cavity and abdominal cavity.

Since birth, little Xin Xin from China can only envy and watch others play, as her heart is not able to within any pressure caused by vigorous activities. After her birth, doctors had to suture up her belly as it had only a very thin film protecting it, and hence even her intestines can be seen.

Xin Xin medical case was tricky as her heart was located near the abdominal area, and after 11 years, many of her organs may have shifted and to make matters worse, due to her condition, her heart was oddly-shaped and damaged in certain areas.

Luckily for her, the doctors who operated on her succeeded in repairing and putting her heart back into the chest cavity. Under normal circumstances, the success rate of such operations are only high if the surgery is performed within 24 hours after a child is born.
